Ashley was gorgeous on her father’s arm, wearing an ivory gown and a floor length veil over her red hair. With the flute and Celtic harp duet and the stone Castle in the background, it was like we were taken back to medieval times!
The bridesmaids wore soft cocoa or sage gowns and carried bouquets of red, orange and yellow autumn flowers. The guys wore black suits and bow ties with matching Keds.
The wooden tables were decorated with moss runners and topped with elaborate dragon centerpieces created and painted by Jose, Ashley and her parents. Each of the eight dragons was a completely unique breed: Sun Dragon, Sky Dragon, Earth Dragon, Storm Dragon, Ice Dragon, Mountain Dragon, Water Dragon, Fire Dragon. Guests had to figure out which table they were seated at based on the description of their dragon.
The chocolate wedding cake was decorated with orange and yellow accents and topped with flowers, a lovely gem created by our friend Derek of Corsino Cakes.
Ashley and Jose not only gave us some of their favorite music requests to play, the included their guests’ requests as well. The let us dive into some Latin favorites as well as new dance, doo wop and Motown.
The maid of honor also gave a special performance, singing “Power of Love” by Celine Dion, which she dedicated to the newlyweds.
It was a gorgeous celebration with dancing right until the end…on a Thursday night! Thanks so much for having us, Ashley and Jose.
